Outdoor team building activities
Half-day or full-day outdoor activities such as Capture the Flag and the Cryptic Challenge, run by our own instructors. For groups of 8 to 80+, no experience needed.
See our team building activitiesThe Peak District starts on Sheffield's doorstep. Our team building days and offsites run in the Hope Valley, around half an hour from the city centre.
For Sheffield teams, the Peak District is the obvious place for a proper team day out. Our base in the Hope Valley is around 30 minutes from the city centre by car, or a short train ride on the Hope Valley line to Hathersage, Bamford or Hope.
Short travel times mean you can fit a morning meeting and an afternoon team building activity into a normal working day, or stay over and make it an offsite.

Away days and offsites
Around 30 minutes by car, or a short train ride from Sheffield station on the Hope Valley line. We can arrange transport for larger groups.

These are the outdoor team building activities our clients book most. Each one can run as a half day alongside your meeting, or be built into a full away day.

Walk, talk and think in the open air, then stop for afternoon tea somewhere spectacular. Fresh Air Meetings swap the conference room for the hills, giving your team space to have better conversations and actually enjoy being together. Perfect for leadership offsites, strategy days, or teams that just need to reconnect.

Orienteering meets puzzle-solving across some of the Peak District's most dramatic landscapes. Teams navigate between checkpoints, working together under time pressure to solve challenges along the way. It rewards lateral thinking as much as fitness, levelling the playing field and bringing out unexpected strengths.

A strategic multi-team head-to-head played out across open countryside, rewarding communication and decision-making under pressure. Competitive without being intimidating, it has an uncanny habit of revealing who your real leaders are - not always the ones you'd expect.

Every event is designed around your objectives - whether that's improving communication, integrating a new team, rewarding your people, or just giving everyone a brilliant day out.
All events are fully facilitated by our experienced team, fully risk-assessed, and can be adapted for mixed fitness levels. You don't need to be outdoorsy to get the most out of a Peak Events day - you just need to show up.
With extensive experience working with organisations and local providers, we offer tailored accommodation solutions for businesses and groups in the Peak District, combining comfort, professionalism and stunning surroundings.
Meeting facilities for all group sizes and requirements. We work with many Peak District providers to put your event together for a seamless experience.
In your accommodation rental, at a hotel, in the mountains - we've got something for everyone. From catered parties to picnic pack-ups, we'll make sure your event is catered to an excellent standard.
As a Blacklane partner we can arrange chauffeur-driven transfers for your team: station and airport pick-ups, and executive cars between your office, hotel, meeting venue and activity.
Optional add-on: leadership development
Every team day works on its own. If you want more from it, you can add a leadership development session, priced separately: our facilitator joins your team during the activity, then helps you turn what happened into actions for the business.
Sessions are led by an experienced performance coach from the world of elite sport, who brings the habits of high performing teams into business leadership.
Rather than a classroom course, everything is built around what actually happened on your day, so the conversations are real, specific and easy to act on.
Our facilitator joins your team during the activity, such as Nuclear Fallout, watching how you plan, communicate and make decisions under pressure.
A facilitated session the same afternoon or evening, or a half day the next morning, built around what happened on your day, not theory from a slide deck.
The lessons are linked to your business objectives, and everyone leaves with their own commitments to take back to the office.
Send us some details about your plans and a member of our team will get in touch with a proposal.
